Well integrated addressbooks enable fast access to information:

While reading an email you get to see a list of all other emails sent by and to the same author... You also see notes about the author, subscribed mailinglists and information that Angel may have requested from other applications like sales software... Authors can have multiple addresses... You can display all emails from authors in a particular addressbook, similar to viewing all emails in a mailbox...

Emails can be presented in a semi-threaded style. It's not possible to do real threaded presentation because that will only work if other email-clients co-operate. They don't of course. But just ordering all messages in chronological order will do just as well for 99% of the time.

In the screencapture the first message message was sent to somebody at november 19th. November the 20th a reply comes back. Angel can't really tell it's a reply but looking at the subject it isn't hard to guess.

The same day a reply to the reply is sent with the new title PChar to Stream. This time Angel can see the relation to a previous message simply because hitting the reply button told Angel this. So it marks the outgoing one with the blue reply picture. The 21st a reply to the message sent the 20th is received. Again, Angel can't tell for sure if it's a reply, but it is likely to be so.
